100WF London Gala 2023 raised over GBP 440,000 in gross proceeds in support of the 100 Women in Finance Foundation!
Thank you to all who joined us at this year’s 100WF London Gala at the Victoria and Albert Museum on 7 March 2023.
It was wonderful to bring together nearly 300 industry participants, all keen to support and progress 100WF’s mission and Vision 30/40.
We are grateful for the continued support and generosity of our volunteers, registered members, sponsors, industry partners and donors.
The Gala beneficiary, 100 Women in Finance Foundation, supports the organization’s programs and initiatives, as well as the efforts of our local program partners, that empower women in the industry at every career stage and inspire the next generation of pre-career women to find pathways into the industry.
At the Gala, Carolanne Minashi, Global Head of Inclusion at HSBC, was presented with the 100WF EMEA Industry Leadership Award in recognition of her achievements and leadership in the financial services industry. This Award is presented annually in recognition of exemplary professional talent, business ethics, and passion for investing that further define and advance the industry’s standards of excellence.
Amongst strong industry competition, abrdn was announced as the winner of the 100WF EMEA Industry DEI Award for demonstrating that through deliberate implementation of DEI policies and initiatives, they have significantly improved female representation in both senior investment and executive committee roles. The other finalists were Coronation Fund Managers and Pictet Asset Management. We commend all the finalists and applicants for their commitment to DEI in the industry.
The goal of the Industry DEI Award, sponsored by J.P. Morgan, is to recognize those organizations who are driving forward and shaping the future of women in the finance industry. The hope is to make these organizations’ efforts and positive results more visible to other companies and individuals, inspiring others to be catalysts of change.
